Nynke Hendriks is an experienced legal translator from Dutch to English and is fluent in both languages.
Familiar with all areas of law, Nynke has translated legal texts for the Ministries of Finance and Justice as well as various law firms in Amsterdam. In addition to having completed a course in legal translation, Nynke frequently attends seminars and workshops to update her translation skills.
Nynke studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam, specialising in the law of intellectual property and writing her LLM dissertation on patent law. From the start (2004) Nynke has been actively involved in the Creative Commons copyright licensing project for the University of Amsterdam. Before embarking on her law studies, Nynke obtained a BA in Art History from the University of Essex and an MA in Hispanic Studies from King’s College, University of London.
